Ski Flying World Championships 2024: Kulm

  After the Polski Tour, comes the Ski Flying World Championships, which will be held in Kulm, Austria, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik will have to defend the title won in Vikersund in 2022. On Friday, in the 1st Round Marius ranked 21st, jumping 201.5 m and scoring 189.6 points. In the 2nd Round he placed 17th, jumping 206.0 m and scoring 184.4 points. On Saturday, in the 3rd Round he ranked 13th, jumping 210.0 m, with a score of 211.2 points and with a total score of 585.2 points. Finally, on Sunday, Norway fielded Marius Lindvik, Daniel-André Tande, Robin Pedersen and Johann André Forfang in the Team Competition. Marius, who jumped third in the Norwegian team line up, jumped 230.0 m in the 1st Round and 182.0 m in the Final Round. Norway placed 4th, with a total score of 1502.9 points. Polski Tour 2024: Zakopane

  Third and final event of the Polski Tour, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Zakopane, Poland. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 33rd, jumping 124.5 m and scoring 131.5 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round he placed 10th, jumping 133.0 m and with a score of 158.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 14th, jumping 133.5 m, with a score of 153.5 points and with a total score of 312.3 points. A slight recovery for Marius Lindvik, but he is still far from both jumps and results. There is a lot of work to do to get back to the top of the world.  Until next time!

Polski Tour 2024: Szczyrk

  Second stage of the Polski Tour, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Szczyrk, Poland. On Tuesday, Marius qualified 36th in qualifying, jumping 91.5 m and scoring 113.0 points. Wednesday's competition was canceled due to strong winds and Tuesday's qualifying result was declared cancelled. A very right decision, because the safety of ski jumpers is very important and it is not worth the risk of jumping into the wind.  Until next time!

Polski Tour 2024: Wisla

  For the first time in the history of ski jumping, a new tournament valid for the World Cup comes to life: Polski Tour. It is a tournament that takes place on Polish trampolines and for the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik it is an opportunity not to be missed, in which he is ready to take part in the event in Wisla, Poland. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 21st, jumping 120.5 m and scoring 121.8 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round he placed 27th, jumping 119.0 m and with a score of 109.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 14th, jumping 132.5 m, with a score of 127.2 points and with a total score of 236.2 points. The wind only helped Marius Lindvik in the Final Round, but otherwise it was a weekend to forget for him precisely because the wind put both him and the other ski jumpers in difficulty.  Until next time!

Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Bischofshofen

  Fourth and final round of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Bischofshofen, Austria. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 24th, jumping 126.5 m and scoring 132.8 points. Finally, on Saturday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Estonian Artti Aigro in the knockout, winning the duel despite Aigro's subsequent disqualification for suit, and was ranked 22nd, jumping 126.0 m and with a score of 116.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 24th, jumping 126.5 m, with a score of 123.3 points and with a total score of 239.4 points, the same score as the Swiss Gregor Deschwanden. Marius Lindvik had the same difficulties as in Innsbruck, but finished the Four Hills Tournament in 9th place, with a total score of 1029.4 points.  Until next time!

Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Innsbruck

  Third appointment of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Innsbruck, Austria. On Tuesday, Marius qualified 19th in qualifying, jumping 121.5 m and scoring 104.7 points. Finally, on Wednesday, in the 1st he challenged the Finnish Antti Aalto in the knockout, winning the duel, and ranked 17th, jumping 123.5 m and with a score of 114.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 15th, jumping 121.0 m, with a score of 114.4 points and with a total score of 228.4 points. The wind was the absolute protagonist and put both Marius Lindvik and the other ski jumpers in difficulty. Typical of Innsbruck.  Until next time!

Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

  Second appointment of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 8th, jumping 133.5 m and scoring 130.9 points. Finally, on Monday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Italian Andrea Campregher in the k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 9th, jumping 133.5 m and with a score of 136.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 7th, jumping 133.0 m, with a score of 139.3 points and with a total score of 275.5 points. Marius Lindvik is making clear progress, obtaining excellent results. He just has to take one more step and he will return to the top of the world.  Until next time!
