  After the Olympics, the World Cup returns and the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Kulm, Austria. On Friday, Marius qualified 11th in the qualification, jumping 205.5m and scoring 192.3 points. On Saturday, he placed 30th in the 1st Round, jumping 184.0 m and scoring 162.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 26th, jumping 199.0 m, scoring 179.1 points, for a total score of 341.7 points. Finally, on Sunday, Marius finished third in the qualification round, jumping 233.0 m and scoring 204.4 points. In the 1st round, he placed 20th, jumping 212.0 m and scoring 180.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. Winter Olympics Milano-Cortina 2026

  The wait has finally come. The 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in ski jumping will be held in Predazzo. Will Marius Lindvik be able to retain his Olympic champion status? Only he will know the answer. On Monday, February 9th, Marius placed 9th in the 1st Round on normal hill, jumping 103.5 m and scoring 130.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 12th, jumping 104.5 m, scoring 127.9 points, for a total score of 258.3 points. On Tuesday, February 10, Norway's Team Normal Hill team consisted of Marius Lindvik, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, Anna Odine Strøm and Eirin Maria Kvandal. Marius, who finished fourth on the Norwegian team, jumped 97.5 m in the 1st Round and 100.5 m in the Final Round. Norway finished second, behind Slovenia and ahead of Japan, with a total score of 1038.3 points.   After the Ski Flying World Championships, the World Cup returns, with the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik set to take part in the event in Willingen, Germany. On Saturday, Marius finished 14th in the qualification round, jumping 133.0 m and scoring 105.2 points. In the 1st Round, he placed 22nd, jumping 118.5 m and scoring 88.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 22nd, jumping 128.0 m, scoring 95.9 points, for a total score of 184.5 points. Finally, on Sunday, Marius qualified 41st in the qualification round, jumping 120.0 m and scoring 72.1 points. In the 1st Round, he placed sixth, jumping 142.0 m and scoring 117.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.   While the World Cup takes a short break, it's the turn of the Ski Flying World Championships, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is set to take part in the event in Oberstdorf, Germany. On Thursday, Marius qualified 9th in the qualification, jumping 212.0 m and scoring 195.0 points. On Friday, he placed first in 1st Round, jumping 226.5 m and scoring 214.6 points, enough to qualify for 2nd Round. In 2nd Round, he placed third, jumping 212.0 m and scoring 205.7 points, enough to qualify for 3rd Round. On Saturday, he placed third in the 3rd Round, jumping 221.0 m and scoring 208.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed second, jumping 231.5 m, scoring 216.8 points, for a total score of 845.9 points.   The World Cup flies overseas to the Land of the Rising Sun, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is set to take part in the event in Sapporo, Japan. On Friday, Marius qualified 13th in the qualification, jumping 125.0 m and scoring 117.5 points, the same score as Austria's Maximilian Ortner. On Saturday, he placed 11th in the 1st Round, jumping 131.0 m and scoring 117.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 10th, jumping 125.0 m, scoring 123.4 points, for a total score of 240.9 points. Finally, on Sunday, Marius finished third in the qualification round, jumping 132.0 m and scoring 127.4 points.   After missing the event in Bischofshofen,  Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik returns to the World Cup to take part in the event in Zakopane, Poland. On Saturday, Marius qualified 26th in the qualification, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 111.2 points. Finally, on Sunday, he placed fifth in the 1st Round, jumping 132.5 m and scoring 124.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed fourth, jumping 140.0 m, scoring 131.5 points, for a total score of 255.6 points. It was a very positive weekend for Marius Lindvik. Despite Sunday's snowfall, he showed off his talent and managed to land some great jumps, thanks to his training in Lillehammer. He came close to a podium finish, but he still has work to do on qualifying, as he's still behind.  Until next time!

Marius Lindvik Skip Bischofshofen

  Due to a poor qualifying performance in Innsbruck, the Norwegian team has decided to send Marius Lindvik home to train in Lillehammer under the guidance of coach Andreas Vilberg. Therefore, Benjamin Østvold will take his place in Bischofshofen for the last of the four Four Hills Tournament events. The Norwegian team will call on Marius as soon as he's fully ready.  Until next time!
