World Cup 2025/26: Vikersund

 


The penultimate stage of the World Cup season sees the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik ready to take part in his home event in Vikersund, Norway. On Friday, Marius qualified 6th in the qualification, jumping 231.0 m and scoring 195.2 points. Finally, on Saturday, he placed 10th in the 1st Round, jumping 221.5 m and scoring 192.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 8th, jumping 225.5 m, scoring 222.0 points, for a total score of 414.5 points. Sunday's qualifying and competition were canceled due to windy conditions. A positive weekend for Marius Lindvik, who managed to be competitive despite the wind, but still needs to work on his jumps. Now he must focus on the final event of the season in Planica.

  As per tradition, the last event of the World Cup 2021/22 season takes place in Planica, Slovenia. On Thursday, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik qualified 27th in the qualification, jumping 217.5 m and scoring 203.1 points. On Friday, in the 1st Round he finished 13th, jumping 223.0 m and with a score of 199.8 points, the same score as Slovenian Bor Pavlovcic, and enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 13th, jumping 228.5 m, with a score of 235.5 points and a total score of 435.3 points. On Saturday, in the Team Competition, Team Norway lined up Bendik Jakobsen Heggli, Johann André Forfang, Marius Lindvik and Halvor Egner Granerud. Four Hills Tournament 2024/25: Innsbruck

  Third stage of the Four Hills Tournament, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Innsbruck, Austria. On Friday, Marius qualified 38th in the qualification, jumping 112.5 m and scoring 105.1 points. Finally, on Saturday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Norwegian, and his teammate, Benjamin Østvold in the k.o., losing the duel, but was fished out thanks to the lucky loser, ranking 25th, jumping 123.5 m and with a score of 113.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 27th, jumping 119.5 m, with a score of 106.0 points and a total score of 219.9 points.   The Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik has only one goal to achieve at the World Ski Championships in Planica, Slovenia, which is to finish on the podium in both the individual competitions on normal hill and large hill as well as in the team competitions.
