World Cup 2024/25: Oberstdorf

  After a disappointing weekend in Zakopane, the ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Oberstdorf, Germany. On Friday, Marius qualified 43rd in the qualification, jumping 176.5 m and scoring 158.7 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 9th, jumping 228.5 m and with a score of 201.7 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 5th, jumping 224.0 m and with a score of 214.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 7th, jumping 227.0 m, with a score of 207.1 points and with a total score of 421.2 points. He did not take part in Saturday's event, as he failed to qualify in the top 40 on Friday. Disaster on one side and positive on the other. This is how Marius Lindvik's weekend was in Oberstdorf. World Cup 2024/25: Zakopane

  After a week of rest, ski jumping returns with the World Cup, where Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is set to take part in the event in Zakopane, Poland. On Friday, Marius qualified 32nd in the qualification, jumping 125.5 points and scoring 119.1 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round he ranked 19th, jumping 131.5 m and scoring 140.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 18th, jumping 130.0 m, scoring 136.1 points and with a total score of 276.2 points. He did not take part in Saturday's Team Competition, as the Norwegian team decided to field Benjamin Østvold due to his results in previous events. Houston, we have a problem. Marius Lindvik can no longer get back into the top 10 and the results obtained over the weekend in Zakopane are confirmation of the continuity of the poor results he is obtaining lately, including the Norwegian championship that took place last week. Four Hills Tournament 2024/25: Bischofshofen

  Fourth and final stage of the Four Hills Tournament, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Bischofshofen, Austria. On Sunday, Marius qualified 27th in the qualification, jumping 128.5 m and scoring 129.5 points. Finally, on Monday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Austrian Clemens Aigner in the k.o., winning the duel, ranking 26th, jumping 125.5 m and with a score of 128.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 30th, jumping 116.5 m, with a score of 104.9 points and a total score of 233.2 points. Marius Lindvik finally managed to win the duel in Bischofshofen, but ruined everything in the Final Round with a very mediocre jump. He is still far from the form of the 2021/22 season and will therefore have to train hard.  Until next time!

Four Hills Tournament 2024/25: Innsbruck

  Third stage of the Four Hills Tournament, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Innsbruck, Austria. On Friday, Marius qualified 38th in the qualification, jumping 112.5 m and scoring 105.1 points. Finally, on Saturday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Norwegian, and his teammate, Benjamin Østvold in the k.o., losing the duel, but was fished out thanks to the lucky loser, ranking 25th, jumping 123.5 m and with a score of 113.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 27th, jumping 119.5 m, with a score of 106.0 points and a total score of 219.9 points. For the third time in a row Marius Lindvik lost the duel and was fished out thanks to the lucky loser for the third time in a row. Four Hills Tournament 2024/25: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

  Second stage of the Four Hills Tournament, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Tuesday, Marius qualified 31st in the qualification, jumping 128.0 m and scoring 122.0 points. Finally, on Wednesday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Slovenian Domen Prevc in the k.o., losing the duel, but was fished out thanks to the lucky loser, ranking 24th, jumping 128.5 m and with a score of 121.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 20th, jumping 137.0 m, with a score of 132.9 points and a total score of 254.0 points. Another duel lost in the k.o., unconvincing jumps and results below expectations. Marius Lindvik did not fare well in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He will have to train and change his mentality. It is the only way to get back to fighting for the podium and for the victory.  Until next time!
