World Cup 2024/25: Lake Placid

From Willingen we fly overseas, where the  Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Lake Placid, USA. On Saturday, Marius qualified 26th in the qualification, jumping 117.0 m and scoring 111.5 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 13th, jumping 120.0 m and scoring 118.9 points, the same score as Austria's Stefan Kraft, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 4th, jumping 130.0 m, scoring 135.4 points and scoring 254.3 points in total. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 5th, jumping 129.0 m and with a score of 135.1 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 25th, jumping 121.0 m and with a score of 117.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 20th, jumping 122.0 m, with a score of 119.9 points and with a total score of 237.6 points. Bittersweet weekend for Marius Lindvik. He missed the podium by one point on Saturday, while Sunday was decidedly disappointing. All this because of the wind, which made things difficult for him. The bright side is that when he puts his mind to it, he can fight for the podium, but he is still far from his 2022 performance.

Until next time!
