World Cup 2024/25: Sapporo

 


From the United States of America we fly straight to the land of the Rising Sun, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Sapporo, Japan. On Friday, Marius qualified 11th in the qualification, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 110.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 6th, jumping 132.0 m and scoring 121.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 5th, jumping 135.5 m, scoring 143.2 points and with a total score of 264.7 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 9th, jumping 128.5 m and with a score of 119.4 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 1st, jumping 136.0 m and with a score of 139.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 2nd, jumping 131.0 m, with a score of 134.9 points and with a total score of 274.2 points. A positive weekend for Marius Lindvik. He finally managed to get back into the top 10 and even managed to get back to doing the jumps worthy of his talent. He deserved to win in Sunday's competition, but he is still satisfied to be back on the podium.
