Ski Jumping World Championships 2025: Trondheim

The World Cup is taking a break to make way for the Ski Jumping World Championships, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is set to take part in his home event in Trondheim, Norway. On Saturday, March 1st, Marius qualified 14th in the normal hill qualification, jumping 98.0 m and scoring 124.3 points. On Sunday, March 2, he placed 1st in the 1st Round, jumping 108.0 m and scoring 137.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 1st, jumping 104.5 m, scoring 128.3 points and with a total score of 265.5 points, thus becoming the world champion on normal hill, also making the Grånasen hill record. On Wednesday, March 5, Team Mixed Norway fielded Marius Lindvik, Johann André Forfang, Anna Odine Strøm and Eirin Maria Kvandal.
