World Cup 2025/26: Willingen

 


After the Ski Flying World Championships, the World Cup returns, with the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik set to take part in the event in Willingen, Germany. On Saturday, Marius finished 14th in the qualification round, jumping 133.0 m and scoring 105.2 points. In the 1st Round, he placed 22nd, jumping 118.5 m and scoring 88.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 22nd, jumping 128.0 m, scoring 95.9 points, for a total score of 184.5 points. Finally, on Sunday, Marius qualified 41st in the qualification round, jumping 120.0 m and scoring 72.1 points. In the 1st Round, he placed sixth, jumping 142.0 m and scoring 117.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed fourth, jumping 145.0 m, scoring 135.7 points, for a total score of 252.7 points. It was a bittersweet weekend for Marius Lindvik. The wind made things difficult for him, as it does for all ski jumpers. He joined the group of ski jumpers for the super jump challenge in Sunday's competition and missed the podium by one point. The silver lining is that he fought until the end. Now it's time for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, where Marius will have to defend his Olympic champion title.

World Cup 2021/22: Planica

  As per tradition, the last event of the World Cup 2021/22 season takes place in Planica, Slovenia. On Thursday, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik qualified 27th in the qualification, jumping 217.5 m and scoring 203.1 points. On Friday, in the 1st Round he finished 13th, jumping 223.0 m and with a score of 199.8 points, the same score as Slovenian Bor Pavlovcic, and enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 13th, jumping 228.5 m, with a score of 235.5 points and a total score of 435.3 points. On Saturday, in the Team Competition, Team Norway lined up Bendik Jakobsen Heggli, Johann André Forfang, Marius Lindvik and Halvor Egner Granerud. Marius, who jumped first in the Norwegian team's lineup, jumped 240.0 m in the 1st Round and 241.5 m in the Final Round. Four Hills Tournament 2024/25: Innsbruck

  Third stage of the Four Hills Tournament, where the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Innsbruck, Austria. On Friday, Marius qualified 38th in the qualification, jumping 112.5 m and scoring 105.1 points. Finally, on Saturday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Norwegian, and his teammate, Benjamin Østvold in the k.o., losing the duel, but was fished out thanks to the lucky loser, ranking 25th, jumping 123.5 m and with a score of 113.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 27th, jumping 119.5 m, with a score of 106.0 points and a total score of 219.9 points. For the third time in a row Marius Lindvik lost the duel and was fished out thanks to the lucky loser for the third time in a row.   The Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik has only one goal to achieve at the World Ski Championships in Planica, Slovenia, which is to finish on the podium in both the individual competitions on normal hill and large hill as well as in the team competitions.
