World Cup 2020/21: Willingen

 


After last weekend's Lahti disaster, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to redeem himself in Willingen, Germany. On Friday, Marius qualified 11th in the qualification, jumping 131.5 m and scoring 117.8 points. On Saturday, in 1st Round he qualified 7th, jumping 132.5 m and scoring 125.2 points. In the Final Round he finished 6th, jumping 137.5 m, with a score of 131.6 points and a final score of 256.8 points. On Sunday, the qualification was canceled due to the wind. In 1st Round Marius finished 26th, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 107.8 points. The Final Round was canceled due to the wind and the result of the 1st Round became official. Apart from the disastrous result obtained on Sunday due to the wind, Marius's weekend was positive. The event just played is called Willingen Six and Marius finished 7th in the weekend ranking. Not bad for him. The tiger was caged again this time. Marius, it will be better next time.   The wait is over and the World Cup 2024/25 season officially begins, with the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik set to take part in his home event in Lillehammer, Norway. On Friday, Norway fielded Marius Lindvik, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, Anna Odine Strøm and Eirin Maria Kvandal in the Mixed Team. Marius, who jumped fourth in the Norwegian team lineup, jumped 137.5 m in the 1st Round and 131.5 m in the Final Round. Norway finished 2nd with a total score of 1075.1 points, behind Germany and ahead of Austria. On Saturday, Marius qualified 3rd in the qualification, jumping 136.0 m and scoring 141.4 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 8th, jumping 131.0 m and scoring 148.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 18th, jumping 120.5 m, scoring 134.3 points and scoring 282.8 points in total. World Ski Championships 2023: Planica

  The Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik has only one goal to achieve at the World Ski Championships in Planica, Slovenia, which is to finish on the podium in both the individual competitions on normal hill and large hill as well as in the team competitions.
