On 28 February he did not take part in the Mixed Team Competition and therefore he rests. On 4 March, in qualification Marius qualified 11th, jumping 126.5 m and scoring 134.7 points. On 5 March, in 1st Round he qualified 11th, jumping 126.5 m and scoring 124.3 points. In Final Round he finished 6th, jumping 131.5 m, with a score of 132.9 points and a final score of 257.2 points. Finally, on 6 March, Team Norway will field, in addition to Marius, Daniel-André Tande, Robert Johansson and Johann André Forfang in the Team Competition. In 1st Round Marius jumped 117.0 m and scored 103.9 points. In the Final Round he jumped 133.0 m and scored 135.3 points. In the end, Team Norway finished 6th with a final score of 974.1 points. For Marius no podium, but in difficult weather conditions he showed determination, courage and willpower. In addition, he confirmed his comeback not only in the positions, but also in the jumps. Really unbelievable. During the World Ski Championships his teammate Halvor Egner Granerud was found positive for Covid-19 and Johann André Forfang jumped in his place. But despite Covid-19, Granerud became world champion in the World Cup, despite the fact that only the Planica event was missing, which will be held in two weeks. Congratulations to Halvor Egner Granerud for this winning title!
Until next time!
