World Cup 2021/22: Lahti
After the Olympics interlude, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik prepares for the World Cup competition to take part in the event in Lahti, Finland. On Friday, Marius finished 22nd in the 1st Round, jumping 118.5 m and scoring 118.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 11th, jumping 127.5 m, with a score of 136.9 points and a total score of 255.0 points. On Saturday, Team Norway lined up Robert Johansson, Daniel-André Tande, Marius Lindvik and Halvor Egner Granerud in the Team Competition. Marius, who jumped first in the team's line up, jumped 127.5 m in the 1st Round and 128.0 m in the Final Round. Team Norway finished 4th, with a total score of 1029.7 points. Finally, on Sunday, Marius qualified 23rd in qualifying, jumping 114.0 m and scoring 114.5 points. In the 1st Round he finished 19th, jumping 119.5 m and scoring 122.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 13th, jumping 124.5 m, with a score of 127.5 points and a total score of 249.5 points. For Marius Lindvik it was a difficult weekend and he always struggles in Lahti, but he brings home important points for his standing. He was unable to roar like a tiger, but he will have other opportunities to redeem himself, giving the best of himself.
