World Cup 2021/22: Oberstdorf

 


After winning the Ski Flying World Championships at Vikersund last weekend, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the penultimate World Cup seasonal event, Oberstdorf, Germany. On Friday, Marius qualified 5th in the qualification, jumping 220.5 m and scoring 214.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he finished 4th, jumping 217.0 m and scoring 202.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 6th, jumping 218.5 m, with a score of 191.2 points and a total score of 393.8 points. Finally, on Sunday, Marius finished 52nd in the qualification, jumping 151.5 m and with a score of 107.4 points, not enough to qualify for the 1st Round. It was a bittersweet weekend for Marius Lindvik, but he did his best and will soon be roaring again.
