World Cup 2022/23: Kulm

After a disappointing weekend in Sapporo, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Kulm, Austria. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 16th, jumping 202.0 m and with a score of 164.5 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round, he classified 14th, jumping 197.0 m, in which he flew too low touching the skis to the ground at about 160.0 m and then struggling to land at 197.0 m, and with a score of 167.8 points, enough for qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 11th, jumping 235.0 m, with a score of 196.5 points and a total score of 364.3 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 8th, jumping 226.0 m and with a score of 224.3 points.   After the bittersweet event in Zakopane, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik takes part in the event in Sapporo, Japan. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 6th, jumping 131.0 m and with a score of 117.0 points. In the 1st Round he finished 23rd, jumping 125.0 m and scoring 115.4 points, which was enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 19th, jumping 128.5 m, with a score of 116.7 points and a total score of 232.1 points. On Saturday, in the qualification Marius qualified 4th, jumping 142.5 m and with a score of 138.9 points. In the 1st Round he finished 13th, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 128.1 points, which was enough to qualify for the Final Round.   After an almost disappointing Four Hills Tournament, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the World Cup event in Zakopane, Poland. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 12th, jumping 131.5 m and with a score of 130.0 points. On Saturday, Norway lined up Halvor Egner Granerud, Marius Lindvik, Johann André Forfang and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal in Team Competition. Marius, who jumped first in the Norwegian team's line up, jumped 128.5 m in the 1st Round and 122.5 m in the Final Round. Team Norway finished 5th, with a total score of 1113.4 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round Marius finished 3rd, jumping 128.0 m and with a score of 133.7 points, the same score as his teammate Halvor Egner Granerud, enough to qualify for the Final Round. Four Hills Tournament 2022/23: Bischofshofen

  Fourth and final stage of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik takes part in the event in Bischofshofen, Austria. On Thursday, Marius qualified 26th, jumping 125.0 m and scoring 124.7 points, the same score as Japan's Naoki Nakamura. Finally, on Friday, in the 1st Round he challenged the German Karl Geiger in the KO, winning the duel, in which he classified 11th, jumping 134.5 m and with a score of 143.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 19th, jumping 128.0 m, with a score of 126.5 points and a total score of 269.5 points. For Marius Lindvik the Bischofshofen event didn't go as he hoped, but he gave his all, fighting until the end.  Until next time!

Four Hills Tournament 2022/23: Innsbruck

  Stage three of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik takes part in the event in Innsbruck, Austria. On Tuesday, in the qualification Marius qualified 4th, jumping 122.5 m and with a score of 114.1 points. Finally, on Wednesday, in the 1st Round Marius challenged the Italian Alex Insam, winning the duel, in which he classified 4th, jumping 128.0 m and with a score of 127.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 6th, jumping 121.0 m, with a score of 118.3 points and a total score of 246.2 points. Marius Lindvik was finally able to roar like the tiger and came close to the podium in Innsbruck. He has made a lot of progress compared to the last few previous events and will soon be back on the podium.  Until next time!

Four Hills Tournament 2022/23: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

  Second stage of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik will seek redemption and will do so in the event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Saturday, in the qualification Marius qualified 36th, jumping 119.0 m and with a score of 105.3 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round he challenged the German Stephan Leyhe in the K.O., winning the duel, but was disqualified for suit size. Marius Lindvik is frustrated and angry about the DSQ obtained in 1st Round, despite the fact that he had jumped 130.5 m, but that certainly won't stop him, because the tiger will roar again.  Until next time!
