Summer Grand Prix 2023: Klingenthal
After the summer break, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the last event of the Summer Grand Prix, namely the one in Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, in the qualification Marius qualified 11th, jumping 135.5 m and scoring 136.7 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 4th, jumping 136.5 m and scoring 134.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 10th, jumping 129.0 m, with a score of 125.2 points and with a total score of 259.4 points. Finally, on Sunday, Norway fielded Anna Odine Strøm, Thea Minyan Bjørseth, Marius Lindvik and Halvor Egner Granerud in Team Mixed. Marius, who jumped as second in the Norwegian team's line up, jumped 130.5 m in the 1st Round and 128.5 m in the Final Round. Norway placed 5th, with a total score of 893.5 points. Marius Lindvik's weekend was below expectations and is far from the performances and jumps he used to do. It will take time, but Marius will shine again to win and get on the podium.
