World Cup 2023/24: Lake Placid
The World Cup makes a stop overseas and Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Lake Placid, United States. On Friday, Marius qualified 22nd in qualifying, jumping 120.0 m and scoring 133.8 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he ranked 12th, jumping 121.5 m and with a score of 136.0 points, the same score as the German Felix Hoffmann, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 3rd, jumping 133.0 m, with a score of 141.8 points and with a total score of 277.8 points. In the Super Team Norway fielded Marius Lindvik and Johann André Forfang. Marius, who jumped first in the Norwegian team line up, jumped 125.5 m in the 1st Round, 125.0 m in the 2nd Round and 122.0 m in the Final Round. Norway placed 3rd with a total score of 793.6 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round Marius placed 6th, jumping 128.0 m and with a score of 132.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 7th, jumping 124.0 m, with a score of 131.7 points and with a total score of 264.5 points. Sunday's qualification was canceled due to wind. A decidedly positive weekend for Marius Lindvik who not only took home two podiums, one in the individual and one in the Super Team, but also returned to roaring like a tiger. Ladies and gentlemen, Marius Lindvik is back and stronger than before.
