World Cup 2023/24: Oberstdorf

 


From Asia return to Europe and the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Oberstdorf, Germany. On Saturday, Marius qualified 27th in the qualification, jumping 188.5 m and scoring 174.6 points. In the 1st Round he placed 7th, jumping 215.5 m and scoring 198.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 10th, jumping 213.5 m, with a score of 218.0 points and with a total score of 416.6 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 14th, jumping 217.0 m and scoring 164.6 points. In the 1st Round he placed 12th, jumping 219.0 m and scoring 198.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 16th, jumping 213.0 m, with a score of 187.2 points and with a total score of 385.6 points. The qualification which was scheduled for Thursday was moved to Saturday due to the wind. Marius Lindvik's weekend was full of ups and downs. He jumps well in the 1st Round, but worsens his jumps in the Final Round. A problem that Marius will have to solve to ensure that his jumps can return to being as perfect as they were two seasons ago.
