World Cup 2023/24: Sapporo
After the podium in Lake Placid, the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Sapporo, Japan. On Friday, Marius placed 24th in the qualification, jumping 115.5 m and scoring 107.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 18th, jumping 117.0 m and scoring 99.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 13th, jumping 130.5 m, with a score of 123.9 points and with a total score of 223.2 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 45th, jumping 110.0 m and scoring 88.4 points. In the 1st Round he placed 13th, jumping 122.5 m and scoring 108.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 15th, jumping 123.0 m, with a score of 113.5 points and with a total score of 221.8 points. Weekend to forget for Marius Lindvik, who was subpar with his jumps, made a few too many mistakes on the landing and was not at all perfect in the flight phase. He wasn't 100% focused because of what's going on within his team, but he will have to do more than that.
Until next time!
