World Cup 2023/24: Willingen

 


After the Ski Flying World Championships held in Kulm, return to the World Cup in which the Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the event in Willingen, Germany. On Friday, Marius qualified 7th in the qualification, jumping 142.0 m and scoring 119.2 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he ranked 26th, jumping 128.5 m and scoring 87.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 11th, jumping 143.5 m, with a score of 116.6 points and with a total score of 204.5 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 1st, jumping 150.0 m and with a score of 125.4 points. In the 1st Round he placed 4th, jumping 142.0 m and scoring 113.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 5th, jumping 142.0 m, with a score of 112.9 points and with a total score of 226.1 points. The weekend was affected by the wind, which put the ski jumpers in difficulty, but allowed Marius Lindvik not only to learn the flight of the swallow, but to return to doing the super jumps that he had been missing for more than a year.
