Four Hills Tournament 2020/21: Oberstdorf
First stage of Four Hills Tournament: Oberstdorf, Germany. The Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is charged up for this event and can't wait to jump. On Monday, in qualifying, Marius qualified 20th, jumping 110.5 m and scoring 110.5 points. To him a pull of the ears because before the qualification he had missed training 2. On Tuesday, in the 1st Round Marius qualified 2nd, jumping 126.5 m and scoring 138.5 points. In the Final Round he finished 3rd, jumping 135.5 m, with a score of 146.7 points and a final score of 285.2 points. In short, the podium for him. One thing must be specified. Before the qualification there was a COVID-19 case by a Polish ski jumper, Klemens Muranka, who had tested positive. Both he and his teammates were excluded from the event. But after the qualification it was discovered that Muranka had tested negative for COVID-19. The results of the qualification are valid and official. The next day, the Polish team was reinstated to the event to participate in the 1st Round with all 62 ski jumpers in attendance, including those who had not qualified the previous day. Anyway, here are Marius Lindvik's words at the end of the event:
"It's great that I was finally able to make some great jumps again. Now I'm looking forward to the competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, I really enjoy jumping there."
Compliments for the podium, Marius! Keep it up! But you are strong.
Until next time!
