World Cup 2022/23: Ruka

 


The Norwegian ski jumper Marius Lindvik is ready to take part in the second World Cup event of the season in Ruka, Finland. On Saturday, in the qualification Marius qualified 7th, jumping 138.5 m and with a score of 151.3 points. In the 1st Round he finished 13th, jumping 138.5 m and scoring 140.4 points, which was enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 7th, jumping 137.0 m, with a score of 146.4 points and a total score of 286.8 points, the same score as his teammate Daniel-André Tande. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Marius qualified 17th, jumping 128.0 m and with a score of 129.9 points. In the 1st Round he finished 22nd, jumping 132.5 m and scoring 123.5 points, which was enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 20th, jumping 132.0 m, with a score of 127.9 points and a total score of 251.4 points. The qualification, which was scheduled for Friday, had been postponed to Saturday morning due to the delay in the arrival of the German ski jumping team's equipment. Marius Lindvik lived the weekend below expectations and is frustrated that his jumps weren't perfect. But the championship is long and he will have time to recover in the general standings.
